About Pancita

Hunger is a black hole in your stomach that can't let you think, rest, work and live. Pancita was created to combat food insecurity and fill in that black hole with foods that are affordable and local. Why? Because there is so much good food in NY that isn't $40 every time you leave your house. The problem is that those spots are only a IYKYK. But if the hungry don't know, they WILL stay hungry. They'll also keep supporting those big fast food chains instead of these smaller family owned businesses that are already here.

Why Pancita though?

Many of these local restaurants haven't been digitized. Pancita digitizes the undigitized food businesses that have been feeding people for decades. Some of these businesses are more old school and don't have either a website or insta. Sometimes they're not even on Google Maps. But Pancita brings it all together in one place.
